With our busy lives we often spend the days dashing from work to events and then on to the club/bar. Exhausting just thinking about it right.  I know this better than most as I work two jobs on a Friday night and those that know me well know that I maintain an active social life despite my busy work life. Therefore, I have a formula for day to night looks. The things I usually change are jewellery, shoes and my top. Add a sprinkle of make-up and the transformation is complete. I’ll be showcasing four looks to suit different people’s workwear styles. I know some people prefer to wear skirts to work whilst others prefer trousers. I like both so you should be able to find a look that suits your style in this blog post.

I love to have trousers in a range of colours and these duck egg coloured trousers are ideal for the office and meetings as they are subtle but dressy. This looks great with pointy flats for a smart but comfy look. To transition into the night I wear a sexy top underneath and then remove the shirt to reveal all. I always wear heels on a night out, so a backpack is essential to store my dancing shoes.

For those that love dresses this tuxedo style dress is both flattering and an ideal length for work. For a smart day look I teamed the dress with this lovely coral shirt. For a sexy night look I swapped the shirt for a bralet, high heels and jewels. Smart just went sexy!

Dress: H&M. Shirt: H&M. Boots: Dune. Bralet: Misguided. Shoes (old): Kurt Geiger.

Printed jersey skirts are a wardrobe staple for me. They can be dressed up or down and to top it off they are usually a bargain. Love the shirt with this skirt but also love the bad and boujee look created with this vest top, earrings and choker.

Skirt: H&M. Shirt: H&M. Boots (old): Zara. Vest top: H&M. Earrings: Topshop.  Choker (old): River Island.

A jumpsuit may not be considered a typical work style look but dressed down it looks conservative for work. When the sun goes down its time to strip off, add heels, jewels and make-up to complete the transformation.

Jumpsuit: Warehouse. Polo Neck (old): New Look. Boots: Dune. Heels (old): River Island

  1. Love the individual pieces and the jumpsuit transformation! Jersey skirts are my favourite great with flats or ankle boots in the day but you really gave it an edgy feel with the choker & dark lipstick. Can’t wait to try my next day to night look. Thanks

  2. Thanks Nadine. Glad you found it useful. That’s the beauty of fashion. It can be whatever you want it to be.
